Felicity has extensive experience in community consultation and dealing with all tiers of government and stakeholders in matters of cultural heritage significance.
- Initiated and led a whole of government programme to reset the purpose, vision and values of Northbridge in the face of urban decline and contextualise the development and uniqueness of Northbridge in the urban policy, education and policing debate. - Advised Art Gallery of Western Australia’s educational outreach programme for disability (Alexander Galleries Touch and Feel exhibitions).
- Advised on the retention of PICA by the Court Liberal Government (policy advice to Philip Pendal MLA).
- Initiated Professional Development Committee Public Relations Institute of Australia (WA) prior to the establishment of Public Relations Degree at Curtin University.
- Founding member FACET (Forum Advocating Cultural and Eco Tourism) (developed name, logo and objectives).
- Developed curriculum in association with the National Trust (WA) for identifying and assessing cultural heritage significance at a local level.
- Strategic heritage consultant advising on cultural heritage policy, interpretation and adaptive reuse, 1992‐1994 major sites: WA Museum, Newspaper House Group.

During his professional career, Tony has acted as Member and Presiding Member of the City of Perth Design Advisory Committee and also for the Design Review Group of the Town of Victoria Park. He has served on a number of Government Boards and Committees including the Rottnest Island Board in the 1980s and was a Commissioner of the City of Perth when formed to implement the split of the City into four municipalities in the 1990s.

- Led, bid and won for Perth a prestigious international computing archaeology conference for the first time in the Southern Hemisphere. 270 delegates from 27 countries including senior government figures and heads of departments from several universities who attended at a time of global fiscal constraint. Ongoing research relationships were established through this conference exploring current theory and applications in the field of remote sensing, cultural heritage research, management and digital technologies.
